Sweet and Spicy Moroccan Shrimp

1 tbspall purpose flour
2 tsppaprika
1 tspsalt
1 tspgarlic powder
1 tspground cumin
1/2 tspchili powder
1/2 tspbrown sugar
1/2 tspground coriander
1/4 tspground ginger
1/4 tspground turmeric
1/4 tspcinnamon
1/4 tspcayenne pepper
1/8 tspblack pepper
1/8 tspground cardamom
1 1/2 lbsshrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbspolive oil


  1. Mix seasonings and flour together in a small bowl.
  2. Toss the mixture with the shrimp until evenly coated.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the shrimp to the pan and fry until thoroughly cooked - turning occasionally (shrimp should be completely pink).
