Easy Crockpot Meatballs

Easy recipe for a great hot meal at the end of the day. Serve over cooked spaghetti.


1 lbground beef
1/2 lbItalian sausage (or about 4 links)
1 1/4 cupsItalian bread crumbs
1egg, beaten
2-3 clovesgarlic, minced
1medium yellow onion, chopped
1/4 cupfresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tbspcrushed red pepper flakes (optional)
128oz jar of Spaghetti Sauce
116oz can crushed tomatoes
114.25oz can tomato sauce (puree)
to tastesalt and black pepper


  1. In a large bowl: mix the meat, garlic, onion, parsley, bread crumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Form meat mixture into small to medium sized balls and place into crock pot
  3. Pour the Spaghetti sauce, crushed tomatoes, and tomatoe sauce over the meatballs.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours - if liquid doesn't completely cover the meatballs, sitr after a few hours to ensure all meat balls get cooked evenly
  5. Serve over hot spaghetti noodles
